Meanwhile, the Baltimore Sun's Rick Mease wonders why the Orioles have not honored Brooks in the way that York has, and how the team could have possibly done more to immortalize the legend in Baltimore.

The Contract for Markakis

In light of trying to get a general news round-up done for later today since things seem to be kind of slow at my desk right now. I don't know if I was so much surprised by reading this, but it did raise my eyebrows a bit...
From the Baltimore Sun: Nick Markakis acknowledged that his agent, Jamie Murphy, has been talking "back and forth" with MacPhail about a contract extension on his behalf. However, Markakis, the team's star right fielder, who is eligible for arbitration this offseason, said the two sides have! taken only "baby steps."

"It's real slow right now," Markakis said. "It's been a slow-moving process."

Asked whether he would like the negotiations to move faster, Markakis said: "It doesn't matter to me whether it's done fast or slow. I just want it done right."

MacPhail backed Markakis' assessment, saying: "I would say we're still in the opening stages. It's one of those things where if the two parties are motivated to do something, you generally find a common ground. We'll see. We're still talking in terms of length and duration. We haven't thrown any numbers around."
Well, like I have said before, the Orioles are under no obligation offer Nick Markakis a contract for the sake of offering him one. If the organization cares to, they can keep giving him one year deals and going through arbitration until he hits free agency.

However, any baseball fan with a pulse knows that Markakis is the real deal after seeing him f! or the past three seasons. At this point, the Orioles have to ! take a r isk, extend an olive branch and sign him long-term.

I've seen enough of him to deduce he's a solid -- if not impressive -- major leaguer. I always knew he was great talent -- however, I would not have considered him a leader of the team until recently and he's shown that he wants to be a part of the future in Baltimore.

He's a known entity -- and a good one -- it's time to keep him in a Baltimore uniform.

I'll tell you one thing -- if he were in Boston, Los Angeles, New York or Chicago -- he'd be a God and get the attention youngsters like Dustin Pedoria receive nationally.

We all know that MacPhail likes to move deliberately and take all things into consideration. Obviously, he works for the Orioles and not so much the fan base -- however, if the team wants to keep the fan base convinced that brighter days are ahead, Markakis at some point this winter should be given a long term deal.

Teixeira Now A Yankee; Pavano & Orioles Sign Koji Uehara

The big news of today in baseball was the unveiling of Mark Teixeira as a Yankee. We all know the details, and we know he didn't want to come to Baltimore; alas, seeing him in pinstripes was a little surreal after all that took place this off-season.

Mark said all the right things in his press conference, and only spoke glowingly of his new employers, but I'll be interested to see the reaction when comes back to his hometown for Opening Day.

Well, the other news that really intrigued me was that Carl Pavano found work in Cleveland. His deal is worth $1.5 mill! ion plus heavy incentives which he could earn an additional $5.3 million based on starts and innings pitched. The Indians got a pitcher on the cheap -- mostly because of his adventures in New York -- however, if he can be a .500 pitcher or better, he'll help them out greatly.

Now onto Baltimore...

The Orioles finally added another pitcher as they inked Koji Uehara to a two-year, $10 million according to Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun. The report also notes that the deal could be worth as much as $16 million over two years if he meets performance milestones.

Can the Orioles Be Like The Rays in '09? No. Have They Improved on Paper? Yes...

Yesterday, the Washington Post's Dave Shenin in a very positive post on the "Baseball Insider" looks at some of the moves the Orioles have made in the off-season, and compares them to the Rays -- who of course won the American League East last season.

Although Shenin believes the Orioles are missing a few ingredients to become a carbon copy of the Rays in '09, he believes they can do well -- as in win 90 games.

I tend to be on the positive side of things, but I am also a realist. The Baltimore Orioles will not win 90 games, and should consider 2009 a smashing success if they finish at or above .500. , the team still has a lot of flaws, mainly the the rotation -- which is very thin right now -- and maybe the bullpen (a few guys need to show that are over the injury bug and have recovered).

An International Incident Averted: World Baseball Classic Game Three -- Photos & Reflections

I got tickets in the outfield, and figured that I'd move around since the stadium was practically empty; however, I stayed in my area since I enjoyed the company was with and saw the United States defeat the upstart Netherlands squad, 9-3.

They avoided a potentially embrassing situation as Jimmy Rollins hit a homer and drove in four; Brian Roberts went 3-for-3 with two walks, runs, and RBI's. Adam Dunn homered to center field, and Roy Oswalt threw four scoreless innings to earn the easy win.

The Orioles could not build upon their win on Tuesday as they lost to the Mariners, 4-1.Well, the Baltimore ace was a lot better than he was this past weekend in Oakland, but he got punished by the long ball, and his teammates once again didn't do much at the plate -- leaving seven on base. The offense was quiet again, and although Guthrie was not great -- he deserved some run support.

Seattle's Jose Lopez homered twice off of Jeremy Guthrie (a solo shot in the second inning and a two-run homer in the sixth) and a Yuniesky Betancourt RBI groundout in the 4th inning made the difference. Baltimore's only run came off a Brian Roberts single to plate Matt Wieters.

On the day that Dave Trembley's managerial stint got extended into 2010, his players responded in a big way as Michael Aubrey drove in six runs -- via two homers -- Matt Wieters had a 3-run homer, and Jason Berken earned the win (his 6th) as the Orioles defeated the Toronto Blue Jays, in the first contest of a three-game set, 13-7.

Here are photos from the game. I'll have more later...

Sideshow: Orr vs Cote

Well as I anticipated yesterday, Orr and Cote decided to drop the gloves yesterday afternoon in Philly. Orr has had Cote's number over the past two seasons and for the first 20 seconds or so of this fight it looked like Cote was changing that, but Orr was able to regain his composure and land some absolute bombs. Riley Cote must have a head of steel because as evidenced by some famous previous TKOs and KOs, Orr has one of the hardest punches in the NHL. In my opinion ! Cote definitely went for the takedown at the end, but props to him for getting back up after he was dropped to his knee. What can I say about Orr? He's my favorite player in the NHL for a reason - he's entertaining, he does his job and he's damn good at doing both!

Rangers play the Flyers again today at 12:30pm on NBC - let's hope these two decide to go again! And, unlike last time these two teams played on NBC, let's hope the NHL doesn't stop Cote & Orr from doing what they do best! [Link]

My 2nd Round Predictions of NHL Playoffs

Well I was 7 for 8 in the first round, let's see how accurate I am this time around. I am a lot less certain with these picks. In fact, I think that all of these matchups are so even that I could get all 4 predictions wrong. Also, all four series could end up going 7 games!

Boston Bruins
over Carolina in 6
Pittsburgh Penguins over Capitals in 6
Anaheim Ducks over Red Wings in 7
Vancouver Canucks over Chicago in 6

Rangers Sign Donald Brashear

My first question is WHY?

You have a 27-year old Colton Orr, the best young enforcer in the NHL, who is a top three fighter, you let him walk and you go out and sign Donald Brashear who is at the end of his career. Brashear is still one of the best in the business, if not the best, but he's got maybe one season left in him. I just don't understand this one at all!

Update: This gets worse, not only did they sign Brashear, but these idiots in the Rangers front office are paying Brashear MORE! money than Orr. Brashear according to TSN has signed a 2-year deal worth $1.4M per year. Seriously, what the hell are they doing?

Dany Heatley to Sharks

According to TSN's Bob McKenzie's twitter:
heatley for michalek, cheechoo and a second rder done deal
I know, I know - he was rumored to be traded Thursday night too by ESPN in a three team blockbuster.

Well, that deal never happened - obviously.

McKenzie is one of the best in the business when it comes to confirming trades before they are confirmed by the teams. So, I'm expecting this one to turn out to be true.

Confirmed by the Ottawa Senators Official Twitter:
Sens Murray announces trade with SJ: Cheechoo, Michalek and 2nd rounder in '10 for Heatley, 5th rounder in '10.

Liga Inggris 2009/2010 | Kuyt: Tunggu Satu-Dua Bulan Lagi

Kuyt

Tentu saja sekadar tekad belaka takkan berarti banyak.

UEFA Champions League Qualification:
Real Madrid Beats Marseilles 3-0

Hi, guys! the second matches of UEFA Champions League 2009/2010 qualifications was held in this midweek. There were too many matches in this time. But, just a little big match. Bayern Munchen versus Juventus is the only big match in this midweek. Unfortunately, that match was not too impressive. Bayern Munchen and Juventus just collected the draw result. Yup! Bayern Munchen could'nt beat Juventus, the match was ended by 0-0 in Allianz Arena.

An exciting match happent in Santiago Bernabeu stadium, when Real Madrid against Olympique Marseilles. Real Madrid could beat Marseilles 3-0. The goals for Real Madrid were scored by its two stars, Cristiano Ronaldo and Ricardo Kaka. Ronaldo scored two goals in that match and Kaka scored one thorough penalty kick after Ronaldo being injured in th! e penalty box. With this victory, Now Real Madrid are leading in its group.

The worst performance was suffered AC Milan. Yup! AC Milan was beaten by FC Zurich in San Siro stadium, Milan's home base stadium. This was the negative result for AC Milan, because FC Zurich was just an underdog football team in that match. The only one goal for FC Zurich was made by Hannu Tihinen. In the other match, Manchester United could beat WFL Wolfsburg, The Champions of Germany Bundesliga, 2-1, in Old Trafford Stadium.

He's Gone!

By PoshSpur
For THBN

Heart rendering defender Thimothee Atouba, will (as predicted by THBN well over a month ago) sign for German team Hamburg, subject to the player finalising personal terms.

Good riddance!

And some of you said that we should play him up-front! I hope you were joking.

With Atouba's leaving, we have Erik Edman and Reto Ziegler that can cover at left-back. Is there any need for us to sign another left-back?

I still think that Jol will shelve out a few more players. Who would you like to see go?

I personally feel Brown will be sold, as well as Pamarot. Brown is a very hard working player, but I feel that with Mendes, Tainio, Davis, Carrick and possibly Huddlestone in midfield, Brown's place in the team has come under threat.

Pamarot was a Santini signing and seems to play better at centre-half rather than his more traditional role of right-back. The guy is re! covering from a serious injury at the moment, so I am not too sure how the club would get rid of him (if they are planning to that is).

He signed from Nice for £1.7 million last season. That figure is too large of an amount to write-off just after 12 months, so it waits to be seen what will happen.

With everyone in the world of Tottenham realising that an attacking midfielder is needed, who would you buy? And if we bought another central midfielder, who do you think would be sold?

From day one, I have said that we should have gone in for the mighty Figo, and I'm sticking to it!

Any thoughts on new players, or players which you would like to see gone?

Please be realistic.

Good luck Younes

We would like to wish Younes Kaboul the best of luck at his new club Portsmouth.

I feel that we didn't see the best of him at Spurs, as it was his first season and maybe the lad needed more time to bed in.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar

Roman Pavlyuchenko is making all the right noises in an attempt to secure a move away from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

To openly come out and boast that a move to Real Madrid was on the cards in January doesn't sound as though his hearts with us any longer.

If Real are still interested, why don't they put their money where their mouth is and sign him, or better yet, accept a swap deal that takes Pavlyuchenko to Real Madrid and brings in their want away Dutch international striker, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

He's apparently ready to throw in the towel at Real and wants a move after being dropped on several occasions by Ramos. It's common knowledge that Harry Redknapp had made several enquiries about Huntelaar in the last transfer window, which shows that our boss is interested in the lad.

If Harry's after players "in their prime", you couldn't get a better goal-scorer than Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Milan Tawarkan Pato Kontrak Baru

Harapan Milan Tinggal Fabiano

MILAN - Harapan AC Milan untuk menambah pemain baru semakin kecil. Kini "I Rossoneri" hanya menyisakan satu peluang, yakni menggaet Luis Fabiano. Kegagalan "Il Diavolo" bermula ketika Aly Cissokho tak lolos tes kesehatan menuju San Siro.
Kelanjutan soal transfer Emmanuel Adebayor pun seolah hilang tertiup angin. "Satu-satunya pembicaraan adalah melanjutkan Luis Fabiano, pemain yang disukai pelatih kami Leonardo setelah Huntelaar.
Kami masih kurang beberapa juta (euro)," kata Galliani.

Tapi kami berlaku profesional.!

Jika Ragu, Pirlo Sudah Tinggalkan Milan

Aku ingin juara. Ini bukan sekadar kata-kata. Aku yakin bisa melakukannya bersama Milan," tegasnya. Milan sekarang tak terlalu difavoritkan juara Liga Serie-A musim 2009-10.

Jelang Milan vs Inter : Statistik Milan-Inter Sama Kuat

Lawan Atalanta, Penentuan Nasib Leonardo

Namun, hal ters! ebut tak lantas membuat manajemen klub berdiam diri. Konon mer! eka tela h menyiapkan sejumlah kandidat kuat pengganti Leonardo.

Carra's warning for Owen

Owen's decision to join United in the summer on a free transfer was one of the most surprising moves in the transfer window and the switch has not gone down well with all Liverpool fans as a result of the fierce rivalry between the two clubs.

Carragher knows the striker will be the focus of attention when United make the trip to Anfield on 25th October, a game which can be seen live on Sky Sports 1 & HD1.

"Our fans are usually brilliant with former players but he might get a cool reception," Carragher told the October edition of Sky Sports Magazine. "That won't bother him though.

"You can understand the fans' point of view. He used to play for us and now he's at our big rivals so of course there will be some reaction.

"That's football and Michael will know that.

"At the same time, Michael has got his own career to think about. He wants to get his name back up there, he wants to play Champions League football and get int! o the World Cup squad.

"The move gives him that opportunity. It will upset some fans but that's football.

"He's a mate of mine so I suppose I have to wish him well but only to a certain extent."

Surprised
Carragher admits he was shocked by Owen's move to Old Trafford after the expiration of his contract at Newcastle.

"I was a bit [surprised]. Not because I ever doubt Michael's ability but it was just so out of the blue. It happened so quickly," he added.

"One minute you're wondering where he'll end up and the next he's at Old Trafford."

Owen has helped endear himself to the United faithful with a dramatic late winner against local rivals Manchester City and Carragher knows he will face a tough task keeping his former team-mate quiet if they come up against each other next month.

"When I've played against him he's been kept fairly quiet but - and no disrespect to Newcastle - he wasn't getting ! the service and it'll be a harder experience when he's in Unit! ed's lin e-up," added Carragher.

City vs Fulham, Menakjubkan

, Bellamy.

Baik kubu Mark Hughes maupun Roy Hodgson saling menciptakan peluang namun pertandingan berakhir seri 1-1 sampai peluit wasit dibunyikan.

Pertandingan dilanjutkan dengan extra time.

MANCHESTER IN FINALE!!!

GRECIA ELIMINATA,ADESSO LOTTA SVEZIA-RUSSIA

DIEGO:"REAL,JUVE,CITY DECIDO A MAGGIO"

"So che mi cercano Juventus, Real Madrid e Manchester City. A maggio deciderò cosa fare".

Genoa 4-1 Napoli: Gutsy Grifoni Grab Spoils In Thriller

What was billed as a goal fest didn't disappoint with both teams throwing everything and more at each other for 90 minutes of splendid Serie A football.

Hernan Crespo - Genoa (Grazia Neri)
Hernan Crespo - Genoa (Grazia Neri)

Following a wonderful display of attacking football from both sides, Genoa inflicted a heavy defeat on visitors Napoli to join Sampdoria and Juventus at the top of the! Serie A standings.

The visitors took the lead following a wonderful angled goal from Marek Hamsik, but with just seconds to go before half time Sergio Floccari leveled the scoring from the penalty spot.

Gian Piero Gasperini's men took the lead following a second half wonder strike by Giandomenico Mesto, and with just 15 minutes left to play Hernan Crespo dashed Napoli hearts with his first league goal of the season.

Kharja grabbed a fourth late on from the spot, and Genoa went flying back to the top of the standings with their perfect start still intact.

Napoli came storming out the blocks as they looked to demonstrate their worth as a real contender for the Champions League places.

The home side were quick to stamp their own authority on the game however, and they came fl! ying back at the Azzurri after just five minutes of early Napo! li domin ation.

On 15 minutes Genoa again went extremely close as Domenico Criscito smashed a wonderful crack on goal from 25 yards. Fortunately for Napoli their keeper Morgan De Sanctis was equal to it and palmed the ball clear with a wonderful outstretched dive.

Just seconds later Roberto Donadoni's side found themselves with a chance to take the lead when Inacio Pia found himself with an opening inside the box. The Napoli forward took a great touch before he smashed his shot goal bound, but Marco Amelia showed great reflexes to block from close range.

On 27 minutes the game took a turn for the worse for Genoa when Criscito was sent off in extraordinary circumstances. Following a challenge on Cristian Maggio which seemed to merit less than a bookable offense, the Italian full-back expressed a brief discord with the match official, who immediately responded with a red card.

The Partenopei looked to make good use of their numerical advantag! e, but Genoa were by no means ready to sit back as they continued to press forward at every opportunity.

On 35 minutes the Grifoni again went close following some great approach play by Sergio Floccari. The former Atalanta man layed off a great pass to Mesto, whose vicious shot finished just wide of the post.

Just five minutes later it was the visitors who broke the deadlock when Hamsik rounded the keeper. The Slovakian was fed into the box by a delightful pass from Fabio Quagliarella, and he was razor sharp to find the net from the tightest of angles.

The Grifoni were handed a golden chance to level just seconds before the break when Giuseppe Sculli was brought down inside the box by Hugo Campagnaro. The Napoli defender was shown his marching orders for a second bookable offense and Floccari was unforgiving as he coolly slotted the penalty kick past De Sanctis.

Razor Sharp | Hamsik Scored From The Tightest Of Ang! les

Gasperini introduced Rodrigo Palacio into the fray after the re-start, and Genoa were keen to push forward with numerical parity having been restored shortly before the break.

Both sides continued to throw everything they had in search of that extra inch, and the action move from end to end at a frightening pace.

On 54 minutes Genoa found their inch in magnificent style when Mesto gifted the Grifoni the lead. The Italian cut in from the left wing and didn't think twice before firing a thunderbolt from 30 yards, past a helpless De Sanctis in the Napoli goal.

The visitors refused to back off following the Genoa advantage, and coach Donadoni threw on Walter Gargano and Ezequiel Lavezzi to give the Azzurri some added clout going forward.

Genoa nearly added a third when Palacio's inviting cross found Alberto Zapater with a chance to head goal bound. Unfortunately for the Grifoni the former Zaragoza man couldn't make a clea! n contact and Amelia managed to get down in time to smother the danger.

On 75 minutes the Rossoblu took one step closer to victory when Hernan Crespo opening his Serie A scoring account with a wonderful finish following some great interplay with Palacio.

With just five minutes left to play Aronica was sent for an early bath when he bundled Palacio down inside the six yard box. Houssine Kharja stepped up for the subsequent spot-kick and put the game to bed with Genoa fourth.

The Grifoni kept possession for the final minutes and joined city rivals Sampdoria at the top of the table with Tagliavento's final whistle.

Genoa hadn't won their opening three Serie A fixtures since the 1932-33 season, but following the manner in which they dealt aside a dangerous Napoli, they will certainly be confident of pushing all the way for a top for finish next May.

Carragher wary of blues threat

Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has described cash-rich Manchester City as a "massive threat" to the established top four in the Premier League this season.

City exercised their financial muscle over the summer when spending well over £100m on new players, even raiding English football's established forces when signing Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor from Arsenal, and taking Carlos Tevez from under the noses of Manchester United.

They have started the new season wi! th three consecutive league victories and although the manner of their wins over Blackburn, Wolves and Portsmouth has been solid rather than spectacular, Mark Hughes is yet to see his side concede a goal.

A real test of their credentials comes on Saturday when Arsenal visit Eastlands but Carragher, whose Liverpool side are already off the pace with two defeats in their opening four games, expects City to be a real danger to those clubs accustomed to finishing in the Champions League places.

"The top four places will certainly be up for grabs, but we want to make sure we are up there," said Carragher. "With the other teams becoming involved hopefully they will take points off the other big sides as well.''

"They [Manchester City] have got some great players, world-class players and I am sure they will be buying more in January, so they are going to be a massive threat.''

Carragher's Liverpool play Burnley on Saturday with the Reds ! looking to kick-start their season after disappointing defeats! to Tott enham and Aston Villa.

Rio still hurt by final loss

Barcelona ended United's reign as European champions with a comprehensive 2-0 win in Rome last May and the defeat still hurts Ferdinand.

Ferdinand, who made his return from injury against Tottenham at the weekend, is determined to make amends this season, starting with Tuesday's trip to Besiktas, live on Sky Sports 2.

"Having lost a Champions League final, I know what it feels like. It was sickening in Rome because we felt we were on the cusp of greatness, so to lose the way we did was really difficult," said Ferdinand.

"The worst thing about it was that we didn't even put up a fight.

"We never got going. If we had scored in the first 10 minutes, I think we'd have gone on to win the game, but Barcelona got the first goal and it stunned us.

"We never recovered after that and that was so disappointing."

Ferdinand is confident United can enjoy more success in Europe this term.

"You want to win it a! t all costs and as long as we're winning, that's all that matters," added Ferdinand.

"Over the last three seasons, we've performed really well. We won the league three times, reached two Champions League finals so people expect a lot of us.

"If you sometimes don't deliver the big one, then you get a bit of flak and you have to deal with that."

Shakib Al Hasan

Shakib is rated as the best one-day all-rounder in the world

Second one-day international, Bulawayo:
Bangladesh 320-8 (50 ovs) bt Zimbabwe 207 (47.5 ovs) by eight wkts
Match scorecard !

Bangladesh secured their seventh consecutive one-day international win by beating Zimbabwe by 49 runs in the second game of the series at Bulawayo.

Having been put into bat, the Tigers blazed their way to 320 for eight, their highest one-day total.

Opener Tamim Iqbal's 79 provided the innings platform but Shakib Al Hasan's 104 from 64 balls was the highlight.

Charles Coventry (61) and Sean Williams (75) gave Zimbabwe hope of a remarkable win but ultimately fell to 271 all out.

Prior to the arrival of Shakib at the crease, Bangladesh's innings had lacked momentum as a disciplined bowl! ing and fielding display from Zimbabwe limited the Tigers to 1! 08 for 1 at the halfway point.

The 22-year-old all-rounder altered the whole dynamic with a scintillating innings that featured nine fours and four sixes.

Elton Chigumbura was the pick of the Zimbabwean bowlers with figures of 3 for 59 in an innings that featured four run-outs.

Zimbabwe's run-chase was well-judged but the steady fall of wickets - distributed among the Bangladeshi bowlers - continually undermined their efforts.

At 238 for 7 with nine overs to go, a slim hope remained that Zimbabwe could achieve their target but ultimately the lack of remaining wickets proved costly and they were bowled out with 23 balls remaining.

Bangladesh take a 2-0 series lead into the third of five one-day internationals ! at Bulawayo on Friday.

Sri Lanka ease to one-day victory

Lasith Malinga
Malinga finished with 4-28 after taking three wickets in one over

First one-day International, Colombo:
Sri Lanka 216-7 bt New Zealand 119 (36.1 ovs) by 97 runs

Thilan Samaraweera's maiden century and four wickets from Lasith Malinga helped Sri Lanka beat New Zealand by 97 runs in the triangular o! ne-day series.

Samaraweera cracked a superb 104 and Angelo Mathews chipped in with 51 as Sri Lanka recovered from 69-5 to finish with a respectable 216-7.

Malinga then took three wickets in an over after Nuwan Kulasekara and Thilan Thushara had each taken three wickets.

And, after New Zealand slipped to 41-6, Malinga returned for the final wicket.

New Zealand now face India on Friday in what could be their last game of the triangular one-day series should they lose.

5th of Nov

Man City 1 - Sunderland 0
Remember remember the 5th of November, well I'm sure Roy Keane doesn't want to remember this day. Sunderland suffered another defeat as they visited Man City. Both Collins and Anthony failed to find the back of the net with headers in the first half and staying at 0 - 0 at half time , but it was Ireland who broke the silence with a brilliant volley on the 67th min followed by a stupid celebration when he pulled his shorts down and stood like superman, FA are looking into this as they where very bad undercrackers. Man city move up to 3rd and still look strong in spite of their heavy defeat at Chelsea they looked like a different team, Sunderland stay mid table.

Lightning does strike twice

This weekend we have witnessed 2 very bad calls for penalties the first at Old Trafford and then at Wigan.
There has been call for a video technology to be introduced to the game for years.
With so much riding on results these days its high time we did introduce the "instant video replay system".
Its not a ref but it gives every one a chance to see what really happened.
I can hear all the wingers al ready saying "oh well whats going happen to the real ref and it'll ruin the flow of the game?"
Well in actual fact already used in the States the video replay dosnt ruin the flow and give a fairer result on a game which is worth alot not just the points but the revenue, millions , if you dont believe me ask West Ham how much its worth, (doh)
If you are working y! our socks off and playing and the ref call a penalty when a clearly isn't it losses all faith you have for Refs.
Rob Styles should have been out of the job a long time ago as it has been proved that over the space of a year he made 4 very bad calls and all within spitting distance of view.
it made me laugh when the Scottish SPL refs where sponsored by Specsaver at one time I don't know if they still are.
Refs like Styles ruin the reputation of the referee and lets face it its a thankless job any way and the few good refs that there are are all tarred with the same brush because of one numpty like Styles.
Bring the video replay i! n now.< div class="blogger-post-footer">
