The Championship game between Queens Park Rangers and Barnsley at Loftus Road on Saturday Sept 26 ,2009.
On the pitch, at least, it's 'Flavio who?' as QPR staved off a spirited fightback to secure their first home league victory of the campaign with a 5-2 win over Barnsley.
Mikele Leigertwood's opener, plus two goals a brace from Hungarian Akos Buzsaky, left QPR in the driving seat at half-time.
But a rejuvenated Barnsely hit-back through a Stephen Foster header and an penalty from Andy Gray penalty after Damion Stewart brought down Adam Hammill in the box.Sensing at least a point, the Reds ploughed on and Hammill had a long-range effort tipped over.
But Ben Watson's lashed shot was too much for goalkeeper David Preece fumbled a Ben Watson shot for and failed to claw the ball back before it trickled over the line to stretch QPR's fourth and fragile lead.
Foster then provided the killer blow for Barns! ley as he flicked Kaspars Gorkss' header into his own net.
"We've raised the bar," said Rangers manager Jim Magilton.
"I was worried about today because I know Mark Robins is a very good manager and his side have improved under him, so it was always going to be a tricky game for us, especially after all the hype.
"We had to do whatever we could to get three points and some of our play was extremely good."
Robins, who gave full debuts to three defenders, said: "We shot ourselves in the foot. They were poor goals to give away.
"We can point to the fact it was a new back four but they are decent players."
